Membrane filters
- PES: Asymmetric hydrophilic membrane. For sterilization (0.22 µm or 0.1 µm) and ultrafiltration. Low protein binding, high flow rate.
- PVDF: Hydrophobic version for gas venting, or hydrophilic for clarification and solvents. Robust, low extractables.
- PP: Economical depth filter matrix, designed to retain large particles prior to sterilizing filtration.
- PTFE: Hydrophobic membrane with exceptional chemical and thermal resistance. Ideal for aggressive gases and steam filtration.
Depth filters
Multi-layer cellulose/diatomaceous earth filters. For clarification: high impurity retention capacity and excellent protein recovery.
Filter integrity tester
Automated portable device performing bubble point, diffusion, pressure decay, and water intrusion tests. GMP compliant, electronic traceability.
Automated PUPSIT system
Pre‑use integrity test of the filter. A single sequence automates wetting, rinsing, testing, and filtration. Compliant with GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11.
